A former Lichfield councillor is planning for success with the launch of a new business venture.

Ben Rayner, who has previously represented the Conservatives on Lichfield District Council, has set up the new [Holland Lloyd](http://www.hollandlloyd.co.uk/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) planning and development consultancy in the city.

Having been shortlisted for the Young Planner of the Year in the RTPI West Midlands Awards, Ben says he has advised on more than 5,000 residential dwellings during his career.

And now he’s looking forward to branching out with his new venture.
