The former frontman of The Seahorses has confirmed he will perform in Lichfield.

Chris Helme will be at the George IV on Bore Street on February 1, 2014.

His previous credits include performing as the frontman in Stone Roses’ star John Squire’s other group, The Seahorses.

The group’s debut album Do It Yourself was released in 1997 and went to number one, spawning single hits such as Love Is The Law, Blinded By The Sun and Love Me and Leave Me.
