The founder of a project supporting education initiatives in South Africa has visited Whittington to thank residents for their support.

Sophia Warner, from The Pebbles Project, attended Whittington Primary School which supports their work in the Western Cape area.

She also met representatives of Whittington Fairtrade who handed over a £1,000 cheque to the organisation.
