FOUR people have been arrested following a protest in Shenstone.

Staffordshire Police say they were called to Lynn Lane at 6am this morning (1st June).

A spokesperson for the force said:

> "Officers found a small number of individuals involved in protest activity and a vehicle blocking the road.

> "The road was closed at the junction of Pinfold Hill while we attended the scene.  
>  
> "Four people have since been arrested on suspicion of public order offences.

> "A vehicle has been recovered from the scene and the road reopened shortly after 11am."
