Tiegan Norris, Registered Manager of Visiting Angels Cannock, Lichfield and Tamworth, said:

> "Dementia affects so many families within our local communities, but there can still be a lot of uncertainty about the condition and how best to support someone living with it.
>
> "We wanted to create a completely free event where people can come along, learn something useful and feel comfortable asking questions.
>
> "You don't need to be a professional or have a diagnosis in your family to attend. Dementia awareness is something that can benefit all of us.
>
> "Burntwood is an important part of the community we serve, so we wanted to bring the event directly into the local area and make it accessible to people who may benefit from it."

The session takes place from 1pm to 3pm on 3rd November at Burntwood Memorial Hall. Free spaces can be booked by calling 01543 399550 or emailing [cannockoffice@visiting-angels.co.uk](mailto:cannockoffice@visiting-angels.co.uk).
