# Funding from M6 Toll helps project supporting military veterans

THE operator of the M6 Toll has backed a project supporting military veterans.

The Help A Squaddie scheme has been given help by the Midland Expressway Limited’s In The Community fund.

The money will help with plans for a Christmas party for veterans facing loneliness over the festive period.

Kerry Urquhart, CEO of the charity, said:

> “We are incredibly grateful to M6 Toll and their In the Community scheme for generously funding our Christmas party and Christmas dinner for the veterans.

> “This celebration will bring together veterans who otherwise wouldn’t see anyone over the Christmas period, giving them companionship, warmth and festive joy.”

Jo Brett, from M6 Toll, said:
