# Funeral service arranged by council following man's death

COUNCIL bosses say a funeral service is being arranged following the death of a man at a local nursing home.

Andrew Howson, 58, died at Kings Bromley Nursing Home on 7th July.

A spokesperson for Lichfield District Council said:

> "No known next of kin came forward to make any arrangements for his funeral.

> "A service will take place at Lichfield and District Crematorium in Fradley at 9am on 28th July 2026.  
>  
> "Anyone who knew Andrew, or who would like to pay their respects, is welcome to attend."
