A Shenstone garden centre is inviting youngsters to join them next month to celebrate Peter Rabbit’s 120th birthday.

Taking place during National Children’s Gardening Week, the Grow with Peter Rabbit workshop will be held at Dobbies on 5th June.

Suitable for youngsters aged between four and ten, the event will offer gardening-themed activities such as learning how to welcome wildlife into their gardens or grow their own fruit and vegetables.

Sarah Murray, from Dobbies, said:

> “We’re hosting a very special Little Seedlings Club for National Children’s Gardening Week, which celebrates our partnership with The World of Peter Rabbit and shares ways in which children can be more sustainable.
