# West End run for Garrick Rep Company production

Matthew Kelly and Tracey Childs in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Some good news from one of the city’s shining lights, Lichfield Garrick theatre, as one of their in-house productions is set for a run in London’s West End.

The Garrick Rep Company’s production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? starring [Matthew Kelly](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0446658/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) and Tracey Childs will head to the [Trafalgar Studios](http://www.trafalgar-studios.co.uk/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) in Whitehall London from April 14 to May 9.

This will be the first time an in-house production has gone to the West End and The Garrick’s Artistic and Executive Director Adrian Jackson is understandably delighted.

“What a great achievement for the Lichfield Garrick and the Garrick Rep Company,” he said. “This is the first time an in-house production has transferred to the West End and we are absolutely delighted.

“The Garrick is enjoying an unprecedented period of success and this London run will enhance the theatre’s reputation and profile within the industry.”
