A Lichfield pub is hosting a charity event this weekend.

The beer garden at the George and Dragon pub

The George and Dragon pub on Beacon Street will be raising money for Shenston Lodge School’s swimming pool fund.

There will be live music, a raffle, a free bouncy castle and other activities from noon to 7pm on Sunday (August 28).

A spokesperson said: “Whatever money we raise on the day will be matched by Marston’s Brewery.

“There will also be a charity BBQ run by Lichfield scout groups to help raise money to attend their international jamboree in Sweden.”
