# Gigspanner bring folk sounds to the Lichfield Guildhall

Steeleye Span’s fiddle player Peter Knight is bringing his current musical project to Lichfield.

The Guildhall will welcome [Gigspanner](http://www.gigspanner.com/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) for a night of folk on Saturday (March 1).

A spokesperson said: “Their unique brand of Folk, reflecting far-reaching musical influences – Eastern European, Cajun, African and even Aboriginal – will provide an evening that is sure to reverberate long after it is over.

“A combination of beautiful instrumentals and traditional pieces will make for a great night.”
