Goalkeeper Tom Burns is the latest new signing for Chasetown FC.

The 19-year-old joins from Midland League Division One outfit Pelsall Villa and was on the bench as the Scholars were [beaten 2-1 at home to Stourbridge](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2015/08/10/chasetown-fc-lose-in-final-pre-season-fixture/) in their final pre season friendly.

Assistant manager Cameron Stuart said Burns may not be the last addition.

“We do need to bring in a few new players and freshen it up,” he said. “We need a little bit of a bigger squad if we can.

“I definitely think that in the next two or three weeks there will be some new lads coming in.”
