A REFURBISHED gym has been unveiled at a local golf club.

Lichfield Golf and Country Club has completed work on the facilities as part of a “significant” upgrade programme.

The refurbished gym at Lichfield Golf and Country Club

It includes new equipment and a reconfigured layout featuring improved free weights, cardio and resistance training area.

An outdoor training space with an astroturf surface has also been added, providing additional capacity for low-impact exercise, stretching and small group sessions.

Club manager Abi Burns said:

> “We are all thrilled about our brand new gym featuring the most up to date equipment with increased strength and functional training areas – we can’t wait for the rest of the club’s redevelopment over the coming months.”
