# Grant aid scheme dishes out £10,000 to Burntwood community groups

Community groups in Burntwood have been awarded a share of more than £10,000 in funding.

The money was distributed by Burntwood Town Council as part of its Grant Aid scheme.

Twenty-eight organisations benefited from the scheme:

- Burntwood Breast Care – £250
- Burntwood Carers – £250
- Burntwood Family History Group – £126
- Burntwood Gardening Guild – £150
- Burntwood Gateway Club – £200
- Burntwood In-Sight Group – £200
- Burntwood Live At Home Scheme – £500
- Burntwood Memorial Community Association – £1,000
- Burntwood Methodist Church – £300
- Burntwood St Matthews Cricket Club – £300
- Burntwood Singers – £100
- Burntwood Town FC – £250
- Cannock Area Cats Protection – £100
- Chase Terrace Bowls Club – £200
- Chasetown Darby & Joan Club – £300
- Chasetown Women’s Institute – £150
- Hammerwich Cricket Club – £200
