Hammerwich took an early lead in the Staffordshire Club Cricket Championship with a 119 run win over Old Wulfrunians & Tettenhall.

Lichfield sit third in the Premier Division table after securing a winning draw against Hawkins.

Aldridge lie second after a seven-wicket triumph over Swindon, while Wednesbury bagged a winning draw against Whittington.

Pelsall picked up a 117 run win against Cannock & Rugeley, and beacon netted a 213 run triumph over Wightwick & Finchfield.
