CHRISTMAS has got into full swing at a Lichfield housing development after it hosted a festive lights switch-on event.

Barratt Redrow Midlands’ Curborough Lakes welcomed local people to enjoy a visit from Santa and a pop-up Christmas market.

There was also activities for youngsters and mince pies and festive tipples for adult guests.

Elaine Cartwright, sales director at Redrow Midlands, said:

> “The countdown to Christmas is officially on in Lichfield. A huge thank you to Curborough Craft Centre, Backstreet Theatre Company, Stuart Brown, Dany Robinson and the wonderful people of Lichfield for joining us to help us mark the start of the festive season.”
