# Hundreds of shoppers get creative with Lichfield drawing workshops

Hundreds of shoppers showed off their creative side at an art event in Lichfield city centre.

As part of the national [Big Draw](http://www.campaignfordrawing.org/bigdraw/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) event, Lichfield District Council and Untitled Contemporary Art Group invited shoppers to try out different drawing styles at a range of workshops.

The workshops took place in an empty shop on Bakers Lane in Lichfield’s Three Spires Shopping Centre.

Councillor Ken Humphreys, Chairman of Lichfield District Council, said: “It was a fantastic day, and well done to everyone involved and all those who took part in the activities on offer.

“Art is such a good way to explore your creative side and meet new people, and I certainly won’t forget dancing to the music, while creating art with my foot!”
