# International visitors treated to a best of British weekend by Lichfield Ladies Circle

Women from around the world have visited Lichfield for a meeting of the International Ladies Circle.

Members from 11 countries were treated to a best of British weekend organised by the Lichfield Ladies Circle.

Their visit saw a welcome from town crier Ken Knowles at the Guildhall, before a traditional fish and chip supper served by waiters from members of the Lichfield Round Table .

The group also enjoyed a gala dinner at The George Hotel over the weekend of their visit, including a performance by a Robbie Williams tribute act.

A traditional full English breakfast rounded off the event.

A spokesperson for Lichfield Ladies Circle said: “The ladies enjoyed a warm welcome in Lichfield and have gone back with some lovely memories of Lichfield.”

Lichfield Ladies Circle meets once a fortnight on Tuesday evenings and is for women aged between 18 and 45\.
