Some sterling defending, top saves from visiting keeper Sean Butler and some long range efforts that flashed just off target was the story of a one-sided opening period.

Despite those attempts, the scoreline remained goalless at the break.

But the winner eventually came in the 68th minute – a corner found its way into the penalty box and James O’Reilly smashed the ball into the roof of the net for his second career Chasetown goal, the first after his return.
