# Kyle Minto double helps Lichfield City FC beat Bolehall Swifts

Lichfield City FC restored their hopes of a top six finish with a fine 3-1 win at Bolehall Swifts.

A double from Kyle Minto and a strike by skipper Todd Perry were enough to secure all three points for Paul Holt’s men.

The result leaves City ninth in the Midland Football Combination and although they’ve played more games than many of the teams above them, the gap between Lichfield and sixth placed Studley is down to just five points.

And they will hope to keep up the pressure on the clutch of clubs above them when they return to action at Coventry Copsewood on Saturday (April 19) – the first of two league fixtures against them in three days.
