# Lane closure confirmed for A38 northbound during upcoming roadworks

CONTRACTORS working on the A38 have confirmed a northbound single lane closure will also take place during upcoming works.

Drainage improvements and installation of new kerbs and signage will take place when the southbound carriageway is shut between Hilliard's Cross and Swinfen Island each weeknight between 9pm and 5am until 22nd October.

But now one lane on the northbound side of the carriageway will also be shut during the closure on 15th October.

A diversion route for the southbound closure will be in place using Wood End Lane, the A515, A51 and A5206.
