Travellers on land at Shortbutts Park

Legal moves have begun to have travellers evicted from a Lichfield park.

Caravans and vehicles moved on to Shortbutts Park yesterday (July 24).

A spokesperson for Lichfield District Council said: “The council was informed that Travellers had set up camp at Shortbutts Park at around midday yesterday, and is starting the legal process today to evict them.”
