The Liberal Democrats have held on to the their seats on Lichfield City Council and Lichfield District Council.

A by-election had been called following [the resignation of Marion Bland](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2016/01/04/by-election-due-in-chadsmead-after-lichfield-district-council-member-marion-bland-resigns/) due to ill-health.
