Local rugby fans will be forced to wait to catch some action after the weather saw fixtures called off.

Lichfield saw all ties at Cooke Fields cancelled due to a frozen pitch.

Meanwhile, Burntwood’s trip to Kidderminster also fell foul of the weather, as did the second XV home game against Essington.

The fixtures will be rescheduled for a date later in the season.
