A local derby in the Lichfield and Walsall District Football League Premier Division saw Burntwood St Matthews steal the bragging rights as they won 2-1 at Burntwood Star.

There wasn’t as much luck for Dragons’ B side though as they were thumped 12-0 at AFC Kriss in the H Boston Cup.

AC Lions kept themselves in the hunt for top spot with a 3-1 win over Trident in Division One, while Dosthill Rangers secured a 2-1 victory at Freemans B in the Division Two basement battle.

Trent Valley Rovers ramin firmly in the title chase in Division Two after a 5-1 win at Lichfield Social B. The result leaves them seven points behind leaders Bowman with four games in hand.
