Lichfield Social A missed out on the chance to win two cups in a week after being beaten by Prince of Wales.

The Lichfield and Walsall District Football League Premier Division side looked to be in control of the Top Twenty Cup Final when a dipping drive from Ash Bennett put them in front.

But their hopes were dashed by an equaliser before half time for their First Division opponents and a winner inside the last 20 minutes of the game.

Cannock Wood are now just one point away from guaranteeing the Division Two title after beating Chase Terrace Victoria 3-2.

Nearest rivals Brownhills Community Colts are three points behind with a lesser goal difference going into the final game after being held to a 1-1 draw by Ros Park.
