Red Light Octopus

A Lichfield band are giving away their new EP after becoming disillusioned with lack of venues in their home city.

Funk rock fourpiece Red Light Octopus are releasing the EP to make sure their music is heard in Lichfield even if they can’t play here.

Vocalist Andy Crowder told The Lichfield Blog:

> “We love Lichfield and we are trying to get live music into the town any way we can, but it’s stupid that in such a great city there is not one music venue!

> “The closure of the LA Rock has left Lichfield dry and lifeless so we have to play in Burton and Derby. But we want to play in our home town.”
