The manager of the Lichfield Business Improvement District is to leave her job.

Morag Pringle [took up the position last November](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2015/11/26/new-manager-insists-lichfield-business-improvement-district-can-bring-real-change/).

But she has now decided to return to a role with her former employers.

“It wasn’t an easy decision,” she told *LichfieldLive*. “But I still love Lichfield and hope the BID will be the success I know it can be.

“I will still be coming back regularly for my shopping and evenings out, so I will be keeping an eye on the place.”

The Lichfield BID [was approved](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2015/08/05/bright-future-predicted-for-lichfield-city-centre-after-business-improvement-district-is-approved/) after a ballot of city centre businesses last year.

It sees companies pay a levy which is then reinvested in projects designed to improve footfall in the city centre.

The Lichfield BID has already invested in new radios to help cut crime and anti-social behaviour while plans are also exploring the introduction of free Wi-Fi throughout the centre of Lichfield.
