A LICHFIELD business has rolled out its first ever electric delivery vehicle.

Tippers will use the KIA PV5 for local deliveries from its branch at Britannia Enterprise Park.

A company spokesperson said:

> “With a range of approximately 260 miles, this van will be charged by electricity generated from the solar panels on our roof, making it a truly sustainable and eco-friendly addition to our fleet.

> “We’re also the first independent builders merchant in the Midlands to add an electric vehicle to our delivery fleet.

> “It is another step forward as we continue investing in the future.”
