# Lichfield businessman’s company set to give away a £700,000 Alpine chalet

A Lichfield businessman has started a new venture which will see him give away a £700,000 Alpine chalet.

The competition is the brainchild of Simon James, who also founded the Laser Quest business.

The [Lifestyle Dreams](http://www.lifestyledreams.co.uk/index.php?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) company hope the giveaway will be the first of several such contests which follow in the wake of private owners using properties as a competition prize after they failed to sell in the troubled housing market.

Mr James said:

> “We have a number of fantastic, life-changing prizes lined up. We’re not comparable to the ‘win my house’ competitions. These aren’t everyday properties; they’re a luxury, something to enhance someone’s life. Future options include homes in Florida and Spain, and even a yacht.”
