LICHFIELD City say the appointment of a new commercial manager is a “huge step forward” for the club.

Jimmy Preece will take up the role at the Trade Tyre Community Stadium as the Midland Football League Premier Division table-toppers seek to emulate success on the pitch off it too.

A spokesperson for the club said:

> “In a huge step forward for our club, we are delighted Jimmy Preece has accepted the role of commercial manager.
