Lichfield City FC have secured a JW Hunt Cup final date at the Molineux after a comprehensive win over Wolverhampton Sporting.

Martin Crawford got his side off to a flying start with a goal in the opening minutes.

A Joe Haines clearance prevented Wolves from levelling, before Tony Clarke fluffed a one-on-one chance just before the break.

Strike partner Tyrone Smith showed how it was done as he doubled Lichfield’s lead early in the second half.

Sub Trea Bertie wrapped up the victory late on to secure a final date against either Alvechurch or Sporting Khalsa.
