Lichfield City FC slipped further off the pace in the Midland Football League Division One with a 2-0 defeat at Bromsgrove Sporting.

Sub Sean Brain netted twice to sink Gary Birch’s men and leave them fifth in the table, 13 points adrift of leaders Coventry United.

Lichfield return to action on Saturday (February 20) when they entertain Littleton.
