Lichfield City prepare to wrap up their pre-season campaign with a home clash against Polesworth this evening (July 30).

Paul Holt’s Midland Combination Premier Division side have had a successful warm-up for the new term, with their last outing seeing them [hold last season’s champions Walsall Wood to a 0-0 draw](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2013/07/28/lichfield-city-fc-hold-champions-walsall-wood-to-a-draw/).

Tonight’s game, which kicks off at 7.45pm, will be the last chance for City’s squad to stake their claim for a starting place when the season gets underway against Bolehall Swifts on Saturday (August 3).
