LICHFIELD City Women will look to avoid a banana skin when they take on basement side Whitchurch Alport.

The Trade Tyre Community Stadium will host the clash between the league’s bottom club and high-flying City who lie joint top of the table with Walsall.

Whitchurch Alport have picked up just three points from eight games so far, while Lichfield’s 7-0 thumping of Rugby Town in their previous outing saw them pass the 15-point mark after six games.

Kick-off today (14th December) is at 2pm.
