LICHFIELD City Women will have to wait to get 2026 up and running after the weather forced the postponement of their first game of the year.

The Trade Tyre Community Stadium had been due to host the league cup clash with Leek Town this afternoon (11th January).

But the tie will be rescheduled after the winter weather forced the fixture to be called off.

A new date will be announced in due course.
