LICHFIELD City Women suffered defeat at home against Stourbridge.

The step up to the West Midlands Regional League Premier Division was always likely to be a tough one, with the Trade Tyre Community Stadium side suffering defeats in their two encounters so far.

But they will take comfort from the fact they are finding the net after scoring twice in each of their fixtures.

Lily Taylor-Maxwell and Courtney Dilger were both on target in City's 4-2 home loss against Stourbridge.
