# Lichfield companies named on list of Britain’s brightest businesses

Two Lichfield firms have been named on a list of the 1,000 brightest businesses in Britain.

Distribution company Palletways and motor sport engineers Alphapeak were named on [The Telegraph’s list](http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/yourbusiness/8755546/Telegraph-1000-Britains-Brightest-Businesses.html?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) of the top mid-sized companies who have weathered the economic storm.

The newspaper’s enterprise editor Richard Tyler wrote:

> “Concerns over the health of the economy disguise the fact that thousands of businesses across the UK are growing and generating jobs.”
