Drivers have experienced delays in Lichfield city centre after a crash.

The incident happened at the busy junction of Upper St John Street and the Birmingham Road at around 5.50pm today (June 7).

Several emergency services vehicles, including the Midlands Air Ambulance, were called to the scene.

No details have yet been released about the number of people injured in the crash.
