The Lichfield Festival has been boosted by a donation from a housebuilding company.

Persimmon Homes handed over the £1,000 cheque as part of its [Community Champions](https://74n5c4m7.r.eu-west-1.awstrack.me/L0/https:%2F%2Fwww.persimmonhomes.com%2Fcommunity-champions/2/010201886bad35bb-b75eb5e3-5db5-44bb-8342-bf86e58eaf8b-000000/82-CEYuajnC4-OeDTFeaWytiU7c=323?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) initiative.

The Lichfield Festival will take place from 6th to 16th July and feature a range of dance, music, theatre and arts events.

David Greengrass, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Midlands, said:
