A SERIES of fundraising events are being organised by the Lichfield Festival Friends.

They include a series of talks at the Cathedral Hotel on 26th January, 23rd February and 23rd March.

A spokesperson said:

> “This a new venture from Lichfield Festival Friends, providing a welcome daytime activity in the cold winter months when going out for a walk, gardening or travelling a long distance may not appeal.
>
> “The talks are all of general interest, with different subjects and the titles such as Gentlemen’s Relish, Whistling Through Changing Times and Seven Wonders of the Waterways.”

Tickets are £10 each or £25 for all three. For booking details visit the [Lichfield Festival Friends website](https://www.facebook.com/people/Lichfield-Festival-Friends/100083570646159/) or call 01543 419233.
