A team of firefighters from Lichfield are set to battle it out with colleagues from across the country in a national competition.

They will compete in the National Trauma Challenge in Hampshire.

The contest sees teams assessed on their ability to provide life-saving care to casualties before the arrival of medical services.

The competition takes place tomorrow (September 9) and Saturday.
