# Lichfield firefighters to take part in charity car wash

Firefighters from Lichfield will be joining thousands of their colleagues across the country in a fundraising car wash event.

They will be using their hoses to wash cars in a bid to raise as much money as they can for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Angie Leigh, Staffordshire Treasurer for The Fire Fighters Charity said: “Not only can members of the public get their car washed and do their bit for charity, they will also be able to request their free Home Fire Risk Check, to ensure they are as safe from fire as possible in their homes.”

The car wash will be held at Lichfield Fire Station on Saturday March 10 from 10am until 4pm.
