LICHFIELD’S bid to move out of the drop zone will continue this weekend when they welcome Beacon.

Adam Braddock’s men are currently one spot off the bottom of the table, but will face a tough test against their fourth placed visitors.

The city side suffered a heavy 179-run loss against Fordhouses last time out, while Beacon also fell to defeat against Walsall in their previous outing.

Play is scheduled to get underway tomorrow (5th July) at 12.30pm.
