# Lichfield karting fundraiser raises £2,500 for charity

A fundraising event in Lichfield has raised more than £2,500 for charity.

Racing at Midland Karting

Midland Karting and Kerrang! radio hosted the Cash for Kids day at the end of October.

On the day endurance races were won by Lee’s Plastering and Martin Norton and team. Kerrang! radio presenters also raced during these events alongside other corporate teams.

Organiser Garry Mitchell said: “We’ve run events in support of Help for Heroes and Cash for Kids this year and will be continuing to work with charities in 2012.

“We’re hoping we can continue to help support these brilliant causes.”
