Mean Machine made it six points from six games in the Lichfield six-a-side football league as they beat Bassett’s Allsorts 4-1, while Stonn Allstars lost ground at the top after drawing 2-2 with The Soldados.

There was another 2-2 in division one as Boley Explosion continued their inch away from the basement as they held Hexis FC and it was a bad day for bottom side Balboa’s Boys who lost 2-0 to Ice Pack.

Monkey’s Punk edged out Norfolk 2-1 in a potentially crucial clash in the Monday league, while Family United picked up a first victory of the campaign as they eased out Plough & Harrow FC by a 2-0 margin.

It was a similar story in division one with Dr Johnson ending in the winners enclosure for the first time this season as they saw off FC PWN 4-1 but England Youth are still to drop a point after an only goal victory over Banana Grove.

Leaders BD crushed The Feathers 6-0 and are in a strong position to claim the title in the Tuesday 6 a side league. Pathetic Athletic are just hanging in to their hopes of gatecrashing the top two spaces as they eased out Bayern Neverlosin 3-0.
