DPFC moved into a challenging position in the Lichfield Sunday league and did so with a 5-1 win over Bassett’s Allsorts who drop back into mid-table.

Real Sosobad were the big victors in division one, underlining their class and crashing in 10 goals against strugglers Fulchester United FC, as Steve McDermott was the star of the show. The defeated side only managed one of their own in reply.

The top two both recorded battling 2-1 wins in the Monday Premier Division, Dr Johnson and Monkeys Punk battling past Walk Of Shame and Family United FC respectively.

Six On Legs moved to within a point of top spot in the First Division following a 2-0 triumph against Dads Army.

B Deep took a massive step towards the Tuesday 6 a side league title with a 3-1 victory over Buffalo Soldiers, K.E.D doing their best to keep up the pressure as they went one better with a 4-1 defeat of City Boys.
