Ashley Bennett was in fine form for Norfolk who commenced the new Lichfield Sunday Premier Division season with a commanding win, 3-0 the final outcome against Real Sosobad.

Donkeys Punk also put three past their opponents, Bassetts Allstars replying with one. Crystal shot to the summit of Division One as Brad Faulkes orchestrated a 4-1 victory over G Leg.

Dr Johnson gave themselves some breathing space in the Monday top flight after easing past Family United 5-2, while closest rivals APFC were held to a goalless draw by Monkeys Punk.

Dad’s Army have moved level on points at the summit of Division One with a commanding 3-0 triumph over Lichfield Unathletic, while there were battling wins for St Martinez, 3-1 over Six On Legs, and Classic VI, 4-2 against FC PWN.

Callum Mosdale was the catalyst for Tuesday table toppers How Wide who carved out a 3-1 win over City Boys, while Young Guns remain firmly in pursuit after overcoming Buffalo Soldiers by the same scoreline.

B Deep and Classic VI also produced fine displays in wins over Black Horse 3-0, and FC No Chance, 2-0 respectively.
