Sean Averill was influential for Norfolk in the Lichfield Sunday top flight as they got off to a fine start with a battling 2-0 win over Unreal Madrid.

Steve Jobson proved the difference for Bassetts Allsorts who squeezed past the challenge of Crystal 2-1.

Fulchester United set the pace in Division One as they edged out Hexis FC Legends by the odd goal in three, Ken Wally proving the difference.

England Youth got a much needed victory in the Monday league, moving clear of the drop with a commanding 4-0 win over rivals Twiney Go Long.
