# Lichfield Litter Legends celebrate success in festive festival at cathedral

THE winners of a festive festival at Lichfield Cathedral have been announced.

The city site saw Christmas trees and wreaths decorated by local businesses and organisations, with visitors able to vote for their favourites.

The and best wreath and overall winner was the creation by Lichfield Litter Legends, while Foster for Staffordshire took the business title.

The charity award went to the tree decorated by Survivors of Bereavement by Suicde, with the school title won by Greenfield Primary School in Walsall.

This festival featured 52 decorated trees and wreaths in total.

Sandra Cottrell, vice chair of the Friends of Lichfield Cathedral, said:

> “This much‑loved annual event enables us to raise vital funds in support of our wonderful cathedral – and it simply would not be possible without the dedication of our volunteers and the thousands of visitors who come along each year to vote for their favourite tree or wreath.

> “Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s festival such a success.”

The winning charities and schools will each receive a cash prize, while the business title holders will receive a trophy.
